Remote working

I’m extremely proud to say that Effective Remote Work is now available to order in print. You can get it from all of the usual places that you buy books from, such as Amazon. However, I would recommend that you support your local bookstore where you can.

I really didn’t intend to write a second book so soon after my first.

But sometimes the right opportunity comes along to write about something that you are passionate about that can genuinely enable people to live better in both in their work and their family lives.

Remote working has transformed our own family situation considerably, and the new practices and processes that we have had to adopt whilst being part of a remote or hybrid workforce has made us happier and more effective colleagues too.

Writing a book is a significant undertaking that is filled with all of the usual highs and lows that one would expect when working on a year-long project mostly alone. I can’t say that it was all smooth sailing. It definitely wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my fantastic editor, Adaobi Obi Tulton, and from Rebecca Harrison who brought back all of the Mac OS 7 inspired diagrams for the second time.

Thank you both.

I’m proud that I was able to pen this at such a poignant time for our industry and for our families and communities. Thank you to The Pragmatic Bookshelf for trusting in me again.

I hope you enjoy the book.
